Online English news - weekly
SindhToday.Net in 2001. The paper also interviewed
Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, former Primer Minister of
Pakistan three times. However, the weekly was blocked by
ex-army dictator General Musharraf's government on July
26, 2006. Later, he brought out SindhWeek.Com |

has written hundreds of articles / columns and letters on various social topics
/ issues |

He
provided 'Free Social Services' through daily newspapers by
compiling daily column
'Job Opportunities' and also weekly column 'How to get Higher Education /
Scholarships' for students particularly belonging to
Rural Areas
of Sindh,
for years. That all was free of cost |
Before May 1972 when Karachi edition of leading Sindhi
daily Hilal-i-Pakistan launched, all
Sindhi dailies were giving look of being carbon copy of
Urdu dailies in language & style. After joining the
daily, he discontinued trend of injecting unnecessary
Urdu, Arabic & Persian
words into Sindhi and first time introduced pure Sindhi
alternate & suitable words in the Sindhi journalism,
thus restoring the original beauty of Sindhi language.
What the present Sindhi dailies are using language, it
was direct result of his efforts. This was his big
achievement in Sindhi journalism. |
