KARACHI, SINDH: [SindhWeek.Com Report] Here is a list of some Sindhi personalities / dignitaries who born in Sindh / Sindhi families and earned international fame / reputation. Most disliked political persons in Sindh politics (Pakistan):

Pir Pagaaro, chief of Pakistan Muslim League (F ) who always supported army dictators
& their anti-Sindhi policies in Pakistan unconditionally. Thus he distorted the image of his great
father martyr "Sorhayia Badshah" who was known as "Great Freedom Fighter."

Mohammad Ayub Khuhro, ex-Sindh chief minister was known as 'Traitor of Sindh'. He
was instrumental in creating notorious 'One Unit' in Oct. 1955 by razing names of Sindh & other
provinces in Pakistan (previously West Pakistan). Nevertheless, he had rendered significant
services to Sindh previously.

 Pir Illahi Bux, ex-Sindh chief minister who forcibly separated Karachi from rest of Sindh &
handed over to Mr Jinnah against wishes of Sindhis in 1948 to make it capital of newly born
country i.e. Pakistan. He was made Sindh chief minister in reward but later apex court declared
his appointment illegal.

Late A. K. Brohi (renowned advocate & ex-law minister of dictator late General Ziaul Haq). He was supporters of ex-military dictators.

Mohammadmian Soomro who as nominated Governor of Sindh, gave post-facto approval for construction of illegal Greater Thal Canal (GTC) in Punjab province meant to usurp Sindh's share
of water, to please ex-military dictator & racist General (r) Musharraf.

Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, ex-Sindh chief minister, leader of PML-Q (Like-minded Group) &
'Most Obedient Servant' of General (r) Musharraf - as latter generally was known as racist, Urdu chauvinist & anti-Sindhis ruler. Nevertheless, Arbab Rahim lacked wisdom, etiquettes and
manners. Therefore, after leaving the chief minister House, he was beaten up with shoe in the premises of Sindh Assembly.

Abdul Hafiz Pirzado who tried his hard to give explanation of the Constitution of Pakistan in
favour of racist & Urdu chauvinist General (r) Pervez Musharraf, ex-President and army dictator in order to prolong his tenure but he never gave any constitutional explanation in favour of
oppressed nations in Pakistan particularly Sindhis & Baloch people
